Exfoliate, extract, and infuse your skin with DiamondGlow Dermalinfusion. You can enjoy this treatment on your face and body. Noticeable results, minimal down time.
DiamondGlow is a facial treatment that exfoliates the skin, helps to extract impurities from the pores, and infuses treatment serums into the deeper layers of the skin. The treatment is very popular, because it can immediately re-volumize and plump the skin; and leave it smooth and glowing. This treatment is performed mainly on the face and neck, yet there is a body treatment tip as well, that is mostly used on the back or chest. The treatments, when done in a series, can help to improve the appearance of sun damage and brown spots, large pores, reduce breakouts, and rehydrate the skin with the various serums available. This is a more successful method of exfoliation than microdermabrasion, with the added benefits of infusing the serums to treat the skin, which microdermabrasion does not provide.
DiamondGlow can help improve the tone and texture of the skin. It can help reduce redness, plump and hydrate the skin (which improves the appearance of acne scarring and fine lines and wrinkles), reduce oil and acne breakouts through pore cleansing, and help fade brown spots or sun damage. By simply exfoliating the skin, there is immediate brightening and improvements, and products can penetrate more effectively when surface dead skin cells are removed.
Most patients are a candidate for DiamondGlow, although those with severe rosacea or inflamed skin may not be good candidates for the treatment until the skin is in a calmer state.
The most prominent difference between DiamondGlow and Hydrafacial is the exfoliating tip and suction. DiamondGlow uses medical grade technology, which includes a diamond tip and pneumatic vacuum. Those technologies combined create an amazing exfoliation and infusion.
Hydrafacial uses a plastic tip which is not medical grade. While Hydrafacial is still a great treatment, it is not medical grade.
A DiamondGlow treatment is fairly relaxing. The exfoliating tip can feel mildly scratchy on the skin, but the serums help the exfoliating tip glide gently. The practitioner will choose a serum that is suitable for specific skin conditions. Immediately after treatment, the skin complexion will appear brighter, and the skin will feel softer and more hydrated. With a series of treatments over a few months, there will be noticeable and more marked improvement in the skin and an overall healthier glow. Prior to treatment, it is recommended to discontinue retinoids or other exfoliating products for 5 days, and after the treatment gentle products are recommended for at least 2 days. Pre and post care will be discussed at the time of the visit.
