A DiamondGlow treatment is fairly relaxing. The exfoliating tip can feel mildly scratchy on the skin, but the serums help the exfoliating tip glide gently. The practitioner will choose a serum that is suitable for specific skin conditions. Immediately after treatment, the skin complexion will appear brighter, and the skin will feel softer and more hydrated. With a series of treatments over a few months, there will be noticeable and more marked improvement in the skin and an overall healthier glow. Prior to treatment, it is recommended to discontinue retinoids or other exfoliating products for 5 days, and after the treatment gentle products are recommended for at least 2 days.
